Takashi Murakami Flower Cafe in Roppongi Hills
Hello Kawaii Travelers!
On my birthday last January 3, I visited a super kawaii pop-up cafe by Japanese contemporary artist Takashi Murakami (in collaboration with Hills Cafe) at Roppongi Hills. If you are going to travel to Japan until January 31 and you love Murakami’s art, I think that you shouldn’t miss this cafe!
I went there on a Sunday at around 1:30 PM. I didn’t have to wait for a long time :)
Even the tables are cute! Ahhh!
Ohana~ ohana~ ohana!
There was this interactive game for the people waiting to be seated. ^^
I really wanted to try the omurice but they only serve 20 a day! Huhu!
Still, I got my dose of flower cuteness!
Forgot to buy a mug! Will go back when I have the chance :)
Ordered the kawaii-fied burger meal, haha!
The cafe is open from 11:00 – 23:00 : )
I hoarded some souvenir items for myself! :))
The big flower pillow (1 meter in diameter I think) costs around 60-70,000 JPY! WOW!
He has an ongoing exhibit too and it’s called “The 500 Arharts”. More info here.
It will be up until March!
Roppongi hills is indeed in full bloom because of Murakami’s lively art!
