Kawaii Sumikko Gurashi Cafe ☕

Hi Kawaii Travelers!

Kaila here~

Weeks ago, my friend and I visited a Sumikko Gurashi-themed cafe located at Tachikawa, Tokyo. It’s only until September 29 this month so if you are a big Sanrio / Sumikko fan, you should definitely go to this place!

Seats are limited and I suggest that you get “ticket reservations” as early as you could. The cafe opens at 11AM.

Jeremee and I arrived at the Cafe at around 1PM and we got tickets for the 4-5PM slot.

It was a Saturday.

Doraemon Invasion in Roppongi

On our way to the Ghibli exhibit (read more here) at Mori Art Museum, Kaila and I chanced upon the Doraemon invasion at Roppongi Hills as well.  So funny that we are not actually aware that there’s such thing. What a perfect timing indeed, hitting two birds in one stone!

It was terribly windy that day, if you haven’t noticed. There was a typhoon passing by but not directly hitting Tokyo. The hanabi / matsuri in Chiba that our friend Yumi-san was about to attend was also cancelled. She actually invited both of us to attend (maybe next year?).

Hi Kawaii Travelers!

Kaila and I went to Ghibli museum in Roppongi hills a few days ago and we’re excited to share this experience with you.

The Ghibli Museum started last July 7 and it will run until September 11 only. So if you are in Tokyo during this time, better not miss this rare Ghibli exhibit!

Pro-tip: Fall in line as early as 9:30 am so you won’t wait that much. We arrived at 10:00am and the line was already long.

Ahhh dream come true! We were able to ride the catbus!! Who says it isn’t real?

Can you guess which character this is?
