1. The Guest Café and Diner at Parco is a must-go on my list just because I’m here almost every other month. They’ve been changing their themes a lot- from Hello Kitty, Kiki and Lala, My Melody, Funashi, Pokémon cafe Ω Ruby & α Sapphire, among many others! It’s definitely one of the cafés you should visit whilst in Tokyo. If there are many people lining up, they’re giving out timed-entry ticket, where in you’ll just have to come back on the specified time.

2. Meet up with your friends or new found friends in front of Hachiko’s statue. This Shibuya attraction brings so much memories because I’ve met a lot of amazing new people here and I’ve also taken my visitor friends here for photo taking purposes. Not to mention I love Shibainu, probably the only kind of dog I like and I cried watching Hachiko when I was younger.

3. Although I’m having doubts about sharing my new secret hideout, it’s just so special to me to the point I don’t want other people to know about it.. but here it goes, dine at “And People” Café. When I first went here with Marippe, it was for dinner so all their candles were lit up, then someone had a birthday celebration and to top it of, a proposal while Only You by John Lennon was being played. Good times! Don’t be fooled by it’s exterior, inside it was the loveliest café that I’ve ever been to! Try their pizza and pasta, you won’t believe how mouthwatering it is.

4. Shop at Shibuya 109. Does this even surprise you? Name your favourite Japanese retail brand and it’s probably here. Here are my top stores to go to whilst in 109: EMODA, Dazzlin, (and other Markstyler brands), SLY, Fig and Viper, LIZ LISA, MOUSSY, KOKOKim, Me%, TWINROOM, Honey Bunch, Swankiss and titty&Co.

5. Tower Records or (Tawa-reco for Japanese, if you can’t find Tower Records and you have to ask a stranger, try to pronounce it this way) for their awesome book and magazine selection. I’ve found my favourites Lula, Rookie and a lot of foreign magazines here. They also have a café and some collaboration. When I last went there with Emika and Kaila, it was Rilakkuma! Everyone’s favourite bear. For people who wanted a decaf alternative, they also have plenty of drinks to choose from. Recently I got to try their decaf mint melange tea which taste like peppermint! Also, I’ve been looking for Amo’s book called “Get Up Girly” and found it here.
